Anthony Nganga

Design To Inspire

I bring significant and diverse experience in designing functional, attractive and cost-effective spaces that spans over 15 years and across 2 different continents. I was born and grew up in Kenya where I started my architectural career. In Kenya, I worked at OCTA Architects and Studio Infinity. As part of the founding team at OCTA Architects, I helped to implement the computer aided design platform. At Studio Infinity I was responsible for digitizing unique and exciting design concepts. I played a supporting design role to the principals at both companies, providing the visualization of the design ideas to the customers. I was also instrumental in supporting and mentoring young interns.

Prior to founding Studio 26, I worked as an Architect for 10 years at GSD Associates in North Andover where my role was to provide quality design and construction documentation services to Customers for various uses including Office, Commercial, Health Care, Institutional, Industrial, Retail and Multi- Family Housing.

As an architect, I have a strong desire and passion to improve the quality of the indoor living and working environment for the comfort and health of the occupants as well as use of energy efficient and sustainable building practices.

I am registered as an Architect in the States of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I am also a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and currently the Owner and Principal Architect at Studio 26 Associates, LLC.

I enjoy camping, hiking, biking and skiing in the New England outdoors.

Oscar B. Morales

If you can dream it, I can build it

Oscar Website Pic.jpg

Oscar has nearly 32 years of experience designing places for people to live, work and play. The design philosophy which drives Oscar is one of combining contemporary efficient space planning within traditional and local vernacular building forms, although there are times when a more modern approach has and will be used. Whether it's a 400 square foot office building, a garage addition, a large custom lakefront home, or a multi-tenant office building, the design is rooted in New England quirkiness, where not everything is symmetrical, but is pleasing to the eye.

Oscar’s strength lies in listening to each client, and interpreting those thoughts and ideas into a design program that uniquely meets the needs of the client, while still working within the constraints of the specific site and any existing structure. He excels at making the most efficient use of the space available, whether that be working within the constraints set by the site's buildable area, the space in an existing home or structure that just doesn't work well, or the restraints set by code or zoning issues. Many clients have commented at the first schematic design review session, at how impressed they are that I really listened to them and incorporated their thoughts onto paper.

Working with residential clients has gained me a reputation for excelling at fitting a comfortable, livable and attractive home on what others saw as only an unbuildable lot. Some clients present me with the requirement that they need an addition to their house, when I often find a better solution by rearranging the spaces within their home, thus requiring less construction and cost. In that capacity, I operate as a problem solver.

I work with builder/developers which includes single family home design, both speculative and custom, multi-family communities, community building design, mixed use structures and large multi-tenant office buildings, including project coordination with other consultants. I have long standing relationships with most of the builders and developers, speaking to their satisfaction with the quality of design work that I have provide for them.

In addition to residential projects I have been involved in many commercial projects that include, hotels, first class office buildings, supermarkets, pharmacies, public libraries and more.
